SMALLZY’S SURGERY WINS 40 SURVEYS IN A ROW

Nova’s Smallzy’s Surgery has secured its 40th consecutive survey win as Australia’s number one night show (7pm to 10pm) with 10% share and 769,800 listeners* according to the GfK Media Research results released today.

Since Smallzy’s Surgery launched in January 2012, the show has secured the number one spot nationally for 43 out of a possible 53 surveys for all people 10+ and has been the number one night show in Australia for every survey since survey 6, 2013#, with today’s results marking five years straight at number one.

After five years, we know Smallzy still has his best years in front of him.”

Over the past five years and 40 surveys, highlights have included Ed Sheeran exclusively announcing the launch of his record label in 2015 on Smallzy Surgery, the show’s annual outside broadcast from the ARIA Awards red carpet, hosting Nova’s Red Room Global Tours including Coldplay at Etihad Stadium, Manchester in 2016 and helping Johnny Ruffo and ‘Walk 4 Brain Cancer’ raise over a million dollars for Brain Cancer research and treatment in 2017.

Smallzy has travelled the globe to cover the world’s biggest music events, including Coachella and the Grammy Awards live in the U.S for the fourth consecutive year. He has interviewed some of the biggest artists and hottest celebrities including Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Ryan Reynolds, Justin Bieber, One Direction, Ariana Grande, Jennifer Lopez and the Kardashains.

Smallzy’s Surgery can be heard from 7pm to 10pm weekdays and Smallzy can be heard as host of the Apple Music Fresh 40 on Saturday nights.
