5. HILLTOP HOODS - 1955
I have to give the Hilltop Hoods a shoutout this week. 1955 could be one of my favourite tracks from the guys in years. The song doesn't disappoint and if you haven't heard it yet - Give it a listen! I thoroughly enjoy the 55' samples and old school vibes this track gives out.
4. MEGHAN TRAINOR - NO
This sucker dropped on Saturday morning our time and it is already top 40 on iTunes. Meghan is back, with a new hair colour (I think the brunette bangs rock) and while I wouldn't say she has a new sound, this single is definitely a more mature sound than some would be use too or even expecting.
3. ALAN WALKER - FADED
I've been playing this on my show for the last few weeks and if you haven't heard it yet you are seriously missing out. Alan Walker is an 18 year old producer dude from Norway and he is dominating Europe with his track called Faded. If you want to impress your friends, this genre of dance music he is making is called 'sad disco'.
2. MACKLEMORE / RYAN LEWIS - DANCE OFF
The follow up to their massive hit 'Downtown' is a song called Dance Off. It's just as much fun as the first song from the album 'This Unruly Mess I've Made'. The creepy voice calling for a dance off and saying no hands off is my favourite part!
1. FIFTH HARMONY - WORK FROM HOME
My favourite girls are back. This track is on point and definitely shows a growth from the ladies and I can't wait for them to get back to Australia! Listen to it on repeat and then when you think you've had enough, listen again. The girls are doing promo at the moment and will be on the show this week.
